The investigation of a man’s body discovered at Dock Road in Limerick city is being carried out by local authorities. Early this morning, the male body was found lying near the Mount Kennett flat complex. It has been reported that the man suffered severe injuries from a fall from height. The confirmation comes from a representative of Garda in Limerick, stating they are undertaking a thorough inquiry into all aspects related to the finding of the deceased on the morning of Saturday, May 25th, 2024. Preparations for a future inquest hearing are underway with a file being compiled for the Coroner, she added. Due to the investigation, the road where the body was found has been shut, and alternative routes are currently being implemented for local traffic.
