Dear Editor, – Observing that over €1 million has been expended this year on law enforcement at the diverse demonstrations held beyond the premises of Leinster House is rather noteworthy (News, September 11th). This sum roughly equates to that of three bike shelters. Considering the circumstances, I’d personally say it seems quite a reasonable spend! – Kindest regards,
