A male individual is expected to appear in court this Saturday, correlated with the confiscation of a firearm. During regular patrolling, officers from the Divisional Drugs Unit executed a vehicle inspection in Finglas’ Kippure Park locale where they discovered a suspected handgun and rounds. The police detained three men in their twenties, out of which two were discharged without any charges. The third man, however, faces charges and is scheduled to present himself in court this Saturday at four in the afternoon. The Gardaí reported that the investigation process is not yet concluded and a dossier is in preparation for submission to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
