A 20-something man has been indicted in connection with a fatal attack that happened at a home in Sallins, Co Kildare during the weekend. The gentleman is scheduled to make his appearance at an extraordinary session of Naas District Court on Monday evening.
Ion Daghi, a 39-year-old Moldovan native, was tragically knifed to death at a domicile in Co Kildare while he was present at a night-time gathering that continued into the early hours of Sunday. He was resided in Sallins with his immediate family, which includes minors, and was employed in the building sector.
It’s believed that several of his family members were at his leased accommodation in Sallins Park at the time he met his demise on the Sunday morning.
During the weekend, a suspect was apprehended at the location in Sallins and was held in Garda custody on Monday prior being later indicted.
