A male in his middle-age years is facing charges following the confiscation of illegal drugs valued over €9 million and more than €1m cash in the northern area of Dublin. The apprehension of the individual took place during a raid at a dwelling located in The Ward, Dublin 11, on a recent Friday night. The seized drugs, estimated at a value of roughly €9.6m, comprised substances including cocaine, cannabis, ketamine, LSD and MDMA, and an additional €1.1m in cash was also impounded. This operation, guided by intelligence, was carried out by the Dublin crime response team of the Gardai, using a legally obtained search warrant for the premises. The accused is set to make a court appearance at the Blanchardstown District Court come Monday morning.
