A gentleman tragically lost his life due to a fire that broke out in Ballina, County Mayo. The unfortunate event happened at a property situated on Tolan Street within the town. The emergency services were notified about the blaze around 7:30 in the morning. There have been reports of several individuals sustaining injuries from the fire. They were immediately transported to Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar for medical assistance. The severity of the injuries they incurred is yet to be determined.
