Man Charged in Clondalkin Hit-and-Run

A 24-year-old male has been taken into custody by police, associated with an alleged hit and run inquiry in Clondalkin, Dublin and subsequently charged. He is scheduled for a court appearance at Blanchardstown District Court, this morning at half-past ten.

There was an occurrence on Cloverhill Road around a quarter to two in the afternoon on Sunday, resulting in a pedestrian in his 20s receiving grave injuries from being hit by a van. The pedestrian is currently hospitalised and is reported to be in a severe condition. The van involved did not stay at the site of the incident.
