The Police Service of Northern Ireland have asked for public assistance after reports emerged of a man flaunting a suspicious firearm in the western part of Belfast. The incident took place on Falls Road on a Saturday morning. The police spokesperson stated that around 8.15 am, there were reports of a man with what seemed to be a handgun near Cullingtree Road. When officers arrived, they confronted the man and confiscated two fraudulent firearms he had. The man, in his 50s, was later apprehended for suspicion of weapon offenses. He is still being held by the authorities. The police are requesting people who might have seen this man or those with CCTV, dashcam or other relevant video footage to get in touch on 101.
