Lugnano in Teverina Terni: art & good food

Just a few weeks ago I had the chance to visit Lugnano, a small town near Terni and not too far from Rome.
Its chief attraction, besides the good food one can have at the local restaurants, is Santa Maria dell’Assunta, a church built in the 11th century, one of the most famous Romanesque churches in Italy, featuring frescoes by the Cosmati Brothers.

A town undoubtedly worth visiting.
