Liverpool Football Club has won Premier League

The team trained by Jurgen Klopp has conquered the title after Manchester City failed to beat Chelsea: Liverpool's victorie of the first league are 19 now.

After a long-awaited victory, Liverpool finally won the Premier League. The football club conquered the last title 30 years ago and now 19th overall. This is the first trophy in the Premier League era.

Liverpool is the Premier League’s Champion

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, achieved his third title in addiction to the two won in Germany with Borussia Dortmund. Liverpool’s victory of the Premier League is the highest points rate English football history, with 86 from 31 matches. It is quickest ever champions in terms of games played. This award completes the previous win that comes from the Champions League and Club World Cup. Those victories demonstrates the golden moment of the team.

The victory was confirmed after Chelsea defeat Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Liverpool are now one off United’s record of 20 titles, and that is the next target for this team, as they seek to retain the Premier League title for the first time since 1983-84.

Because of Covid-19, Liverpool wont’ be able to arrange a celebration with fans. However, they planned to make a safe parade to do so. Players spent the occasion together in a team hotel while fans gathered outside Anfield where excitement has taken over.

After the winning, Klopp claimed that reaching the title was more than he ever dreamed of. “It’s the best thing I can imagine and more than I could have ever dreamed of. I have no words, it’s unbelievable. It’s much more than I ever thought would be possible, becoming champion with this club is absolutely incredible” he said in tears.

Then Klopp adressed to fans: “It is for you out there. It’s all here (touching his heart) and all here (touching his head). It is a joy to do it for you.”
