Limit on Travellers at Dublin Airport

“Dear Editor, – The saga surrounding the Dublin Airport passenger limit which I’ve been monitoring from the south of France has been perplexing, to say the least. I have been ardently urging colleagues and friends to explore the beautiful landscapes of Ireland, however, it’s disheartening to witness the rest of the nation being overshadowed by Dublin. It’s not the preference of every visitor to pass through Dublin only to commence their journey to Cork, Kerry, Galway, Sligo or Donegal. Many whom I’ve suggested visiting Ireland would be delighted to land at Cork or Shannon airport, however, it seems impossible. This is indeed unappealing and disheartening. – Regards,
D CARY,
Nice,
France.”
