Limit on the number of passengers at Dublin Airport

“Dear Editor,

In dealing with the passenger cap at Dublin Airport, the most straightforward method for the Dublin Airport Authority could be to approve all flight enquiries until the threshold of 32 million passengers is met. Should the airport need to halt operations over the festive period because this limit has been exceeded, it is likely to result in serious political ramifications and focus attention on the matter. Kind regards,

Richard Bannister,
Kildare.”
