World Superbike rider Leon Haslam got hitched to longtime girlfriend Olivia Stringer in the middle of December and is currently honeymooning in Borneo.
Apparently the new BMW rider forgot that the island is on the equator and you need UV protection especially on pale English skin, and ended up with this very painful looking and looks like an only on one side sunburn.
Can you imagine him trying to pull on his tight kangaroo leathers over this burn? Ouch! Thankfully Haslam’s next pre-season test with his BMW factory team is at the end of January at Eastern Creek in Australia, so he’ll be all better by then, albeit with a spotted and peeling back.
