Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept live from 2010 Paris Motor Show

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept has been presented live at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and as usual we’re there with our Autoblog.
it colleagues to bring you all the live pics and news.
The Sesto Elemento Concept is a brutal sports car weighing just 999 kg.
It’s Lamborghini’s first example of its new supersports car manifesto – same power but less weight.

The Sesto Elemento Concept is based on the Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4 and is equipped with the same 5.
2-litre V10 with 570 hp and 540 Nm of torque.
The new Lambo concept uses carbon fibre for the internal shell of the car’s cabin, the entire front end, the bodywork and the bumpers.
The engine and this extensive use of the lightweight carbon material have combined to create some explosive performance figures.
The Sesto Elemento has a power-weight ratio of 1.
75 kg/hp.
It reaches 100 km/hr in just 2.
5 seconds and has a top speed of “well over 300 km/hr”.
It’s exactly the kind of supercar innovation that Lamborghini should be investing in and while carbon fibre has become famous, the company has also experimented with other modern materials, such as Pyrosic for the exhaust system (a new glass and ceramic composite material).

The carbon fibre bodywork gets a transparent finish creating an opaque look and red micro-crystals add that touch of colour we saw in the teaser pics.
