Some lucky journalists were invited by KTM to test the new KTM 690R during a two-day excursion on the beautiful island of Elba in Italy.
The excursion gave the media the chance to test the KTM 690R, the latest bike in the LC-4 family, which seems to be the sportiest and most powerful single-cylinder bike of all time.
The 690R is a 46,3 KW, 62 HP strong lightweight with an extended suspension travel of 25 mm for more comfortable riding both on asphalt surfaces and rough terrain.
A sportive look is given to the bike with the Pirelli MT 21 tyres.
The four-valve single cylinder engine from this latest KTM is built in Mattighofen, and the balanced chassis offers riders the highest level of comfort which until now has not been possible in this segment.
