Kawasaki videos nominated in International Advertising Awards

Two promotional videos for Kawasaki motorcycles, specifically regarding the Z800 and Ninja ZX-6R 636 have been nominated in the International Advertising Awards and are finalists to win the prestigious awards in the categories they’ve been entered in.
New York Festivals has been honoring The World’s Best Work™ in all media since 1957 and world-class judges review submissions in the most current and relevant categories to award creativity across all media, with entries and jury members from over 70 countries.

nto this highly competitive environment, Pool Productions – the production company that have worked alongside Kawasaki Motors Europe for over ten years – have entered two of their most recent commissions into no less than five award categories.
For the new mid-capacity “Streetfighter” style Z800 motorcycle, the company entered both Production design / Art direction and Cinematography categories.
And in the case of the highly praised Supersport class Ninja ZX-6R 636, the categories entered ran to Production design/art direction, Cinematography and Event venue.
“We regard every commission from Kawasaki as an entirely separate creative project with its own unique personality”, explains Tom Moran of Pool Productions.

“For the Z800 the tag line mentions a middleweight machine with a knockout punch so the boxing imagery was immediately attractive.
In the case of the new Ninja ZX-6R our task was to explain how well it performs as a day to day machine for normal road use in addition to having race track credentials.
In a complex yet highly productive collaboration between ourselves, Kawasaki Motors Europe, Kawasaki Motors Corporation of America and Kawasaki Heavy Industries in Japan, we chose to base the film on the Isle of Man which stages the famous annual roads-based TT races; the results – even if I say so myself – are truly impressive”.
Kawasaki Motors Europe, Senior Brand Officer, Frank Zoontjes said, “The reason these videos exist is to explain the features and personality of respective Kawasaki models and on this level they have been extremely well received.
If now they can go on to be recognised as outstanding examples of their type then I think everyone involved would regard their efforts as suitably rewarded”.
