Katy Perry: after split with Orlando Bloom in 2017, she considered suicide

Katy Perry shows a fragile part of herself and tells of her mental health problems due to her breakup with Orlando Bloom.

Katy Perry, a well-known pop star, recently revealed that she considered suicide following her split with Orlando Bloom in 2017. She suffered a breakdown after her record flopped and she ended her romance with Orlando Bloom, temporarily.

When the relationship ended, Katy Parry thought about suicide

Katy Perry considered taking her own life after her 2017 split from Orlando Bloom and she told how she almost “jumped” after her album Witness sold less than a tenth of her 2013 release Prism. The singer announced it in a new interview about her mental health. She explained: “My career was on this trajectory when it was going up, up and up and then I had the smallest shift, not that huge from an outside perspective.

But for me it was seismic. I had given so much out, and it literally broke me in half. I had broken up with my boyfriend, who is now my baby daddy-to-be. And then I was excited about flying high off the next record. But the validation did not make me high, and so I just crashed.”

Katy also explained that her faith helped her recover. She also thought that it was so important to be broken so that she could find wholeness in a whole different way. And be more dimensional than just living like a thirsty pop star all the time. Then she added that gratitude is probably the thing that saved her life, because she found the ways to be grateful. Even though in a sh***y mood.

Better place

After struggling with mental health issues, the famous woman who was expecting a daughter with Orlando said she felt in a much better place. She is also sure that she is the one who controls her destiny. Katy also said her hope is that something bigger than her created her for a purpose and created her for a reason, and that she is not disposable, and that every person that’s been created has a purpose.
