In light of the recent impacts of Storm Kathleen, one can’t help but contemplate if this is the very Kathleen Mavourneen referenced in the melody, described as lasting “for years, potentially forever”. If the correlation holds true, we may need to brace ourselves for a prolonged period of tempestuous climate.
