Casey Stoner hates being used as tow for slower riders and is not afraid to express his feelings about it in several ways and during this morning’s testing at the Mugello (we’ll get back later in the day with the final test times) the Australian almost met his match when he tangled with rookie Karel Abraham.
According to Sportmediaset.
com the Repsol Honda rider bashed fairings with Abraham during an overtaking maneuver, because the Czech rider was waiting for him, trying to leech a tow.
Evidently the Cardion AB rider didn’t like Stoner’s attitude, because he marched into the Repsol Honda garage looking for a fight (and not wearing his lid) and both riders started a yelling and insulting match with Abraham accusing Stoner of doing it on purpose, with their respective mechanics and techs keeping the two separated until the situation ran out of steam.
Can you imagine the usually mild mannered Abraham who is 181cm tall and weighs 72kgs trying to bitch slap the smaller and lighter Stoner? A video would have gone viral in 24 hours.
