Josh Cullen stays at Burnley

Josh Cullen, an international player from the Republic of Ireland, has decided to extend his contract with Burnley at Turf Moor where he is pleased to spend another three years, with a possibility for one more. This decision comes as he enters his third season with the Clarets, having joined from RSC Aderlecht in 2022.

The 28-year-old midfield player was contracted to the English club by prior manager, Vincent Kompany. He expressed his satisfaction staying with the club, stating that it is always delightful to plan a future with a place he’s felt connected to over the past two years.

He continued by expressing his anticipation to endeavour this season in order to bring the club to its deserved spot in the Premier League. Though the season started off positively with two wins under Scott Parker’s guidance, they have since experienced one loss and one draw. However, Cullen remains optimistic, stating that there is a pleasant new vibe with innovative ideas under the new head coach.
