Jorge Lorenzo will be debuting as an actor in a Spanish historical fictional television series called Red Eagle, that will air next season on channel TVE.
Lorenzo will play the part of Francisco Pulido, a donkey racer that will be pitted against ‘Sàtur’ the servant of Gonzalo de Montalvo.
Lorenzo said that it was his dream as a teenager to be an actor: “Last year I spent four months studying acting, but I am a very shy person and I wasn’t as comfortable as I am riding a motorcycle.
”“This is much harder than a motorcycle race” confessed Lorenzo, adding: “I’m not a motorcycle legend yet, but I can be one on screen”Lorenzo will be ‘The Legend’, a 17th century champion donkey racer, whose fame was known throughout the Spanish Empire, will be shooting the donkey race scene today, jokingly said: “we’ll see if Satur is a tougher rival than Valentino.
Javier Gutiérrez who stars as Sàtar said that Jorge is professional and that he could be as good as Spanish national basketball team player and LA Lakers star Pau Gasol who guest starred in an espisode of CSI:Miami.
