Jorge Lorenzo takes second place in car endurance race at Aragon

Two wheels are better than four, at least we think so and so does Jorge Lorenzo judging from this pic taken at the Motorland Aragon circuit, where the 2010 MotoGP World champion took part in another car endurance race, the 500 Kilómetros de Alcañiz.
Lorenzo, after his car racing debut last month at Catalunya race track, where he finished 12th in his category, (24th overall) once again got behind the wheel of the Difisa team’s Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse, with team mates Manuel de los Milagros and Antxel Echegoyen, but this time, team #99 made it’s way to the podium with a top second spot in the D5 category.

What did Lorenzo have to say about the race? “The race was complicated enough due to the fog and our direct competitors was the Mini team.
Finishing in second place in our category is a good result, besides being my first podium at MotorLand, even it was with a car.
Next year I’ll try to do it with my Yamaha.
“The Aragon and Motegi GP’s were the only two races in the entire 18 race 2010 season that Lorenzo did not get a podium, finishing fourth in both occasions.
