Jorge Lorenzo finishes 24th in car endurance race

Jorge Lorenzo took off his motorcycle leathers this weekend and donned his driver’s ones to take part in the Copa de España de Resistencia, a car endurance race with a Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse at the Catalunya race track.
The MotoGP champion finished 24th in the general standings and took a 12th place in D12 category, not bad for a motorcycle racer who doesn’t have almost any car experience except for three days of testing and took part at the Monza rally show back in 2008 with a Fiat Grande Punto.

You can watch Lorenzo and his Difisa team in action here.
