We all know that Jorge Lorenzo was not happy with Valentino Rossi after the Motegi GP and that he judged his team mate’s racing too “aggressive,” and the fact he went to the Yamaha bosses about it, naturally sparked off thousands comments and even polls, asking opinions if Rossi was infact, too rough or had he raced fairly.
The general consensus was that Rossi raced fairly, maybe a little hard (powder puff stuff compared to the WSBK races at Magny-Cours last Sunday) and that if Lorenzo was that worried about his upcoming title he should have backed off after the first series of passes and settled for 4th.
Lorenzo is a very big fan of the web and of social networks probably checked out what people had to say about the scrap and ended up being rather bothered by the fact that fans were thinking he was complaining about his run-in with Rossi.
Talking with radio station the CadenaSer and picked by Spanish webiste AS.
com Lorenzo said:“I’m not sorry for what I said, but from now on I’ll do my talking on track” also adding “It bothers me that a lot of people think that I was ‘crying’ after that duel at Motegi.
I only said that I didn’t think it was logical that your team mate should race that way when you’re fighting for the title and haven’t got it yet.
