Jorge Lorenzo and Ricky Carduz to take part in the 24 Hours of Barcelona car race

It’s official, Jorge Lorenzo has gotten the car racing bug.
The reigning MotoGP World Champion will be taking part in the 24 Hours of Barcelona this upcoming weekend, after his Copa de España de Resistencia (CER) partecipation earlier this month, where his team won.
Just as for the CER race, sharing the wheel of the Leon Supercopa (D4) prepared by the PCR Racing team, will again be Alvaro Fontes and Jose Manuel de los Milagros, with the addition of Moto2 GP rider Ricky Cardus (QMMF Racing), Lorenzo’s BFF.

Each driver will be on track for two hour shifts for the 24 hour race.
Jorge Lorenzo: “I think within 24 hours the team and stops are even more important than the drivers.
All together we have to do a good job and enjoy it, because it is a beautiful race.
At the end the consistent ones and drivers who think in the car are the ones who usually get good results.
