Jermaine Jenas, an ex-professional footballer, has lost his presenting roles on The One Show and Match Of The Day broadcast by the BBC. This decision was made following an internal enquiry by the corporation in response to accusations related to his actions, as reported by The Sun. A spokesperson from the BBC verified that Jenas is no longer in their roster of presenters.
The 41-year-old dad of four originally took on the role of fill-in co-host on The One Show in 2020, filling the gap left by Matt Baker’s exit, and was granted a permanent spot in 2021. Throughout his football career, Jenas has played for numerous clubs including Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Anton Villa, and Queens Park Rangers. Furthermore, MC Saatchi, his agency, has also discontinued their representation of him.
