United Kingdon was decided to after all adults of the third dose of Covid vaccine. It included the age group from 18 to 39 years old to stop the spread of the Omicron variant.

That information was announced by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI). The committee also mentioned that the third injection can be done only three months after the second jabs.

Rules to get second jab and booster

Young people between the ages of 12 and 15 should get a second dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. They can get the second jab 12 weeks after the first administration.

Then for seriously immunosuppressed subjects, a booster dose is given no earlier than three months after finishing the primary course of three doses.

JCVI stated about booster dose

Professor Wei Shen Lim, head of the JCVI, stated, “Taking a booster jab will improve our level of security toward the Omicron variant.

He also added that this step is an essential way of decreasing the result of this variant on lives in the coming months.
