Throughout the final session, Trump seemed out of form, and a regrettable miss on a pink in the 20th frame left room for Jones to score a 61 break, creating a two-point gap at 11-9. A subsequently misfired yellow in the next frame left Jones just one frame away from victory. In the 22nd frame, Trump’s snooker shot went awry while potting a red, allowing Jones to secure the game with an unfaltering 106 clearance.
