Ivan Silva to return to MotoGP action at Motegi

After David Salom was dumped from Avintia Blusens CRT team after just two MotoGP races, it was officially confirmed that Ivan Silva (who finished second in the UEM European Superstock 1000 Championship for PL Palmeto Racing last Sunday at Albacete) to finish the season.
“As you can imagine I am very pleased to get back to MotoGP with the team.

I am not familiar with the [Motegi] track but I am excited after the race in the European championship.
I felt competitive again in Albacete.
I enjoyed myself and I was very close to become champion again.
This has given me strength and even if I have to prioritise work I can assure you that the remainder of the season will be totally different from what has been seen so far,” said Silva.
Avintia Blusens in an official statement said that the remaining four races will be used as a “test” for the bike’s technical evolution and it has now been announced that in the final race of the season at Valencia, and in the first post-season test, Silva’s Kawasaki engine will once again be housed in still another chassis made by Imnotec (he tested at carbon frame one during the Jerez GP).
