Italians in Wimbledon: success so far for the azzurri

Italian tennis players have made a good start at Wimbledon in the opening rounds, with four out of five Italians winning their matches.
An impressive game especially, came from Andreas Seppi (photo), at number 50 in the world, who beat US player James Blake, seeded 17.
With a break in the first set at five games to all, Seppi had a competitive game, both in defence and attach, where he mixed things up with some volleying and hard hitting.

Simone Bolelli had a harder campaign against Austrian Daniel Koellerer, winning in five sets.
The Italian female tennis players are off to a blazing start with Roberta Vinci beating Magdalena Rybarikova, last week’s winner in Birmingham.
In an agressive show, Vinci played all her cards, showing a wonderfully versatile game.
Francesca Schiavone had a hard fought battle against 23 seed Magdalena Rybarikova from Canada, winning in three sets.
