The term bel canto can easily be applied to Italian soprano Cecilia Bartoli’s beautiful voice; the singer who with her latest album Sacrificium has just entered the French charts at number 8 (selling more than 8,614 copies) is not doing particularly well in Italy where her album is only at number 92; but there’s now the chance that her success in France will help boost album sales in her home country too!
