The American administration is currently probing a supposed breach concerning the disclosure of confidential US intelligence pertaining to Israel’s attack on Iran, according to CNN. The data, dating back to the 15th and 16th of October, started to disseminate on Friday via a Telegram account named the Middle East Spectator. As reported by the Associated Press, in tandem with tracking the source of the potential leakage, the investigation also focuses on understanding how the classified documents were accessed. This includes examining if the leakage was deliberate, perpetrated by a US intelligence member, or if the acquisition was a result of other means, such as hacking, and if more intelligence data has been jeopardised.
