“Irish Girl (11) Falls from Majorcan Hotel”

A tragic incident occurred when an 11-year-old girl from Ireland fell from the balcony of the hotel where she and her family were vacationing in Majorca. The dreadful incident happened at the family-oriented resort, Puerto de Alcudia, in Majorca’s northeast region. The unfortunate event occurred early on Monday around 6:30, while the girl’s family was still asleep.

Despite the urgent efforts of emergency responders and paramedics, the girl could not be revived and was declared deceased at the scene. An autopsy is due to be carried out later in the day.

It appears that the family had plans to return to Ireland on the day of the accident. From local reports, it is gathered that the child plummeted approximately 65ft, ending up on the roof of a restaurant on the first floor. The accident transpired at Club Mac, a family-centred three-star inclusive resort.

An enquiry from the Club Mac resort was met with a decline to comment from the receptionist. Meanwhile, a representative from the Department of Foreign Affairs acknowledged their awareness of the tragic incident and stated that consular assistance is being provided. However, respecting their usual protocol with consular cases, the department withheld comments regarding the specific details of this case.
