Ireland’s Six Nations Opener vs France

The Women’s Six Nations for the forthcoming year will commence with Ireland hosting France on Saturday the 22nd of March. The Irish campaign will conclude with a match against Scotland in Scotland scheduled for Saturday the 26th of April. Last year, the Irish squad had a disappointing 38-17 loss against France in Le Mans during the first round of the championship, ultimately securing third place behind France and England, the Grand Slam victors.

For their second game, Scott Bemand’s team has a date with Italy on the 30th of March, a Sunday. This will be followed by a two-week hiatus prior to the much-anticipated home game against England on the 12th of April. An away match against Wales on the 20th of April, Easter Sunday, will take place before the final match on the last day, the 26th of April.

The Women’s Six Nations campaign for Ireland will kick off with a match at home against France. Hugh Hogan is excited in his new capacity as part of the recast coaching team for Ireland. At the same time, the revival of RG Snyman and Jamison Gibson-Park’s fitness is welcome news for Leinster. However, the Australians are grappling with difficulties in the aftermath of a tough defeat at the hands of Los Pumas, as pointed out by Gerry Thornley.

The game venues for Irish fixtures will be announced by the IRFU at a later stage. The Irish schedule reveals matches taking place on the 22nd of March against France, the 30th of March against Italy, the 12th of April against England, the 20th of April against Wales, and the 26th of April against Scotland.
