Ireland: Unsettled Weather to Persist

The forecast from Met Éireann suggests unsettled weather conditions are on the way. Expect “rain and showers” in the next few days, with a dip in temperature towards the week’s end.

Today, we will see sun and occasional showers moving northeast from the south and west, after the rain in Ulster subsides. Another bout of rain is expected to hit the southwest later. As for thermometers, readings will hover around 13 to 17 degrees. Light to moderate winds coming from the south-southeast will intensify in the southwest by the evening.

Rain is set to scatter northeast tonight, gradually diluting and leaving patches of clear sky and intermittent showers in the southwest. Nighttime temperatures are set to stay between 9 and 13 degrees in the same south to southeast winds.

Tomorrow’s weather prediction includes sunny spells and sporadic showers, with top temperatures ranging from 14 to 17 degrees in mild to moderate southeasterly breezes.

Tomorrow night’s weather first predicts clear spells and showers. Later in the night, rain is expected to spread across the east part of the country, possibly intensifying in some areas. The minimum estimated temperatures lie between 8 to 12 degrees and will be accompanied by gentle to moderate easterly winds.

Tuesday’s forecast spells clouds with intermittent rain in the east, brighter weather with sunshine and potential heavy showers in the west. Temperature readings will register between 12 to 16 degrees. During the night expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain and temperatures between 9 to 12 degrees with moderate north winds.

Wednesday will mostly be overcast with sporadic rain coming from the northern direction, some of which could be heavy. Expect temperatures between 11 to 15 degrees, together with moderate or fresh northern winds.

Thursday is expected to see any lingering rain move south, replaced with sunshine and showers in the north. It will be a chillier day with top temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees paired with moderate northern winds. The weather is anticipated to remain bright and colder as we move into Friday and the weekend.
