Dear Editor, – In his piece, Joe Humphreys suggests several factors contributing to the increasing trend of ‘news avoidance’ with traditional media sources being less frequented by the general public (Opinion, 9th of September).
Surely isn’t the fundamental issue here that the mainstream media outlets seem to endorse the perspectives, agendas and pressing matters of leftist NGOs, public sector unions and middle-class students?
