Prof Neil Ferguson: Indian variant more transmissible than Kent

Prof Neil Ferguson, one of Britain’s leading scientist, revealed the Indian Covid-19 variant more transmissible about 60% than the Kent variant. Prof Ferguson, who also an Imperial College London epidemiologist, explained that Delta or B1.617.2 variant could grow between 30 and 100 per cent. However, he also mentioned that the middle measure was around 60 per cent.
