Dear Editor,
I recently had an unfortunate encounter at the vending machine after a fruitless attempt to return a plastic bottle, only to be denied due to a dent on the container’s upper part. This left me perplexed and based on the assertion of the more knowledgeable individuals waiting in turn behind me, this seemed to be the case.
That raises an immediate concern. What exactly happens to the 25 cents I initially paid for it? With no other option left, I had to reluctantly discard the bottle into my green recycling bin.
Sincerely,
Pat Quinn
