How to Install AVG Antivirus Software
Navigate to the AVG website and download the AVG edition you prefer. Click the name of the AVG edition, click the orange Download button, and save the installation file to your desktop. Double-click the setup file located on your Desktop to start the installation. Read the License Agreement and click the Accept button. Enter the License Number in the License Number field provided and click Next.
Note: If you downloaded AVG Free you will not be prompted to enter a License Number.
AVG will now check for incompatible software on your computer. If finds incompatible software, it will inform you and recommend that you uninstall the software and restart the installation. If no incompatible software is found, select Quick Install, and then click the Next button to continue with the installation.
Select if you want to install the AVG Security Toolbar and make Yahoo! your home page and click Next. The installation will continue. When it is finished, click the Restart Now (recommended) button to restart your computer. AVG is now installed on your computer.
