How to enjoy the Christmas Season in Rome

If you haven’t decided where you want to spend your Christmas holidays, Rome may represent the right choice.
During the upcoming Season, the Eternal City will be full of events and art exhibitions.
If you love the Italian Renaissance you can’t afford to miss the exhibition devoted to Giovanni Bellini at the Quirinale scuderie .

The place located at the top of a hill dominates the whole city and from its large windows you can enjoy one of the most amazing views in the world.
Castel Sant’Angelo, another amazing place from which visitors can enjoy awe-inspiring views of the city, hosts a beautiful exhibition called Loghi d’Italia – storie dell’arte di eccellere or Italian Logos; stories in the art of excelling which will run until 26th January.
The show explores the success and allure of what people usually call “Italian creativity“; from Perugina and Peroni to Vespa and Barilla.
And last but not least, the art exhibition dedicated to Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest artists of 20th century.
The show Pablo Picasso 1917 – 1937 L’Arlecchino dell’arte now at the Vittoriano will close on 8th February 2009.
