How does everyday existence unfold in the West Bank?

The global attention has been firmly riveted on the relentless warfare and the ensuing humanitarian disaster plaguing the Gaza Strip for the best part of ten months. Nonetheless, the consequences of this conflict transcend the borders of Gaza, significantly impinging upon the daily existence of the three million Palestinians inhabiting the occupied West Bank, particularly since the onslaught by Hamas on Israel on the 7th of October.

The region’s economy is in shambles, unemployment rates are skyrocketing, there’s a growing surge in Judaism follower’s aggression, and the Palestinians argue that they have been ensnared by limits on their movement. Just a few weeks prior, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s settlement strategies and the occupation of these territories to be violations of international regulations. This landmark proclamation, albeit unenforceable, leads us to question if it will catalyse any reform?

What does an ordinary day look like for Palestinians dwelling in these seized territories?
