We have seen plenty of odd customizations and fanciful paint jobs on the web, we all have, but today we are going to introduce you to something pretty quirky, a model that is meant to be a sort of tribute to some ancient god of the Eastern culture.
Yes, because the almost unrecognizable bike featured in the video above is a Honda Forza, a mid range scooter, which has been pimped up by Canadian customizer Mike Wyckoff with loads of LED lights and a seriously elaborated color scheme to pay homage to some old Japanese deities and praise the country’s recovery after the tragic earthquake that hit it last year.
A more accurate description of the idea behind this flashy motorbike comes from its maker himself, Mr.
Mike Wyckoff: “Fujin (green, god of the wind) and Raijin (red, the god of thunder and light) are often used in popular culture as a symbolic images representing the demons, but they are also considered to be two of the first and the most ancient gods of the Shintoism.
According to the popular belief, both of them have promised to defend Japan and the god of all gods, the god of the sun.
”The model has been re-dubbed Honda Forza Shakki and comes with a theme-matching helmet.
We definitely appreciate the intention of praising the fighting spirit of the great people of Japan, but we are not that sure about the idea of doing that through a Honda Forza customization.
Regardless, Mr.
Wyckoff’s work surely stands out as a very elaborated and striking model.
