Helmet Assisted Radar Detector: US anti-radar system

The world’s a small place, and after we showed you Italy’s way of avoiding speed cameras, through mechanised number plates that can be raised automatically, America also comes to the fore with a more subtle device.
Manufacturer of motorcycle accessories, Legal Speeding Enterprises has developed H.
A.
R.

D or the Helmet Assisted Radar Detector.
This is pure genius – a wireless antenna connects to the antiradar network, and is equipped with an LED receiver.
While measuring speed, the receiver lights up, alerting the rider.
You can buy the whole package on-line for $160 or the detector and transmittor can be purchased separately.
Remember that in Italy it’s illegal to sell or use equipment that signals the presence of speed cameras so maybe just going a little slower more often is more convenient, not to mention safer.
