Dear Sir,
This past Friday, esteemed Paralympian Shauna Bocquet achieved a regrettable national milestone by rapidly fading into obscurity, despite securing second place in the Diamond League 800m T54 event in Brussels. She had arrived home to a heroic reception on Monday, fresh from her accomplishments at Paris 2024. Can we interpret this as a discouragement for Paralympians to overreach — are bipeds superior, tri-wheels inferior? – Yours sincerely,
Stephen McNamara,
