Sir, – A statement made in the article “State’s priciest day school lessens losses” (Business, May 1st) includes a claim from a representative indicating that Nord Anglia is “the sole Dublin-based international school providing the international baccalaureate curriculum”. In contrast, at St Andrew’s College in Booterstown, we have been instructing several hundred pupils, both local and from overseas, in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme since 1983, thereby making us the longest established IB World School in Co Dublin.
Our pupils have the flexibility to follow either the Leaving Certificate or the international baccalaureate. – Yours faithfully,
