Investigations are currently underway by the Gardaí following the confiscation of suspected cannabis with an estimated worth of €1 million from Ashbourne in Co Meath last Thursday. The illicit drugs were discovered in a warehouse within the town and were recovered by the Meath South Task Force. The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) together with the Revenue Customs Service lent their assistance in the operation.
