The Irish corporation, Future Ticketing, has recently acquired the Scottish Premiership football team, Dundee FC, as their newest customer, according to an announcement from the company itself. Operating out of Tullamore, Co Offaly, Future Ticketing specialises in creating software and solutions enabling event organisers and venues to distribute e-tickets via their individual websites or applications, cutting out a third-party intermediaries.
Plans emerged this past Thursday that Dundee FC has secured a long term partnership with Future Ticketing that will empower Dundee to sell season passes, single match tickets, as well as extended family and friend passes digitally, providing instant access to revenues generated from these sales. The football club’s supporters can purchase tickets using Dundee’s mobile application.
The Irish tech company mentioned that they had collaborated heavily with Dundee FC in order to create a customised service aimed at boosting sales and enhancing fan relationships. Greg Fenton, Dundee’s General Manager, expressed his excitement about the partnership and believes this will allow the club to “modernise and professionalise” their interaction with fans.
Showing great pride in the heritage of Dundee FC and enthusiasm for its future, Fenton praised the expertise brought by Future Ticketing to this evolving partnership. CEO of Future Ticketing, Liam Holton, noted that the football club maintained its position in the Premiership following their promotion from the Scottish Championship. He added that playing in the highest level has led to growing attendances at the Scot Foam Stadium and expressed gratitude to Dundee FC for allowing Future Ticketing to join them in their digital transformation journey to modernise the progressive club.
