The most anticipated model is arguably the new generation of the Ford Mondeo (a.
k.
a.
Ford Fusion in North America), the first model built on Ford’s new global platform for the C/D segment, which will be offered as a five-door and wagon – uniquely developed for Europe – as well as a four-door that will also be offered as segment-first petrol Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV).
The design of the new Mondeo is characterized by a power-dome bonnet and the large grille at the front that is pretty reminiscent of the typical Aston Martin style, while the standard equipment includes the Advanced Active Park Assist, rear seat belts with integrated airbag, electronically retractable glass sun-roof, full-LED adaptive headlights and SYNC system with MyFord Touch interface.
While designing its interior, Ford’s engineers focused ergonomics and comfort, and making large use of soft-touch materials and premium finishes.
As for the engine range, on the petrol side there will be a 1.
0L, a 1.
5L and a 2.
0 L EcoBoost petrol, whereas on the diesel side options will be a 1.
6L ECOnetic unit or a 2.
0L TDCi one.
Definitely worth mentioning is the addition of the four-wheel drive option, which will be made available for diesel powertrains for the first time.

The new Ford Fiesta instead will have an engine range made of no less than 7 different engines whose CO2 emissions have been kept below the 100 g/km limit, with fuel consuption rated at 4.

More specifically, the 1.
0 EcoBoost engine will be offered in 100 hp and 125 hp configurations, while the model will also see the debut of a new 3-cylinder gasoline unit available in 65 or 80 hp configurations.
The new Fiesta will be equipped with Start-Stop system and a 6-speed Powershift automatic transmission.
On-board technologies will include systems such as the MyKey – a first for Europe – and the SYNC with Emergency Assistance.
Also making its debut in Paris is the new Ford Ecosport, a new SUV developed on the global platform for the B-segment.
This model will be equipped with the 1.
0 EcoBoost petrol engine as well, and will join the Ford Kuga to broaden the offer of the Blue Oval in the SUV market, which will be futher strenghtened by the arrival of the next Ford Edge, a model that will be bigger in both class and size.
Last but not least, there’s the new Ford Tourneo Connect, introduced as an alternative for the mobility of lively families.
This model as well is also equipped with Active City Stop and SYNC systems and will be available in both 5- and 7-seats configurations.
The range of engines for the Tourneo will include diesel and petrol engines designed to obtain maximum efficiency.
