Fines in Rome for slow driving

As if the chaotic traffic in Rome needed encouraging, some surprised motorists will be receiving for fines for excessive slowness.
On the stretch of road between the Eur and Ostia, fines are being implemented for reduced speeds.
It’s ironic that the Italian police Lamborghini, kitted out for high speed chases, is placed in a city where concern over traffic flow and circulation has related in speed cameras measuring not just fast, but slow speeds as well.

The funny thing is that what speed you’re supposed to maintain to avoid a fine is a little confusing.
According to the Messaggero Rome’s drivers are requested to go neither too fast nor too slow.
