A man lost his life in a solo automobile accident on the fringes of Cork City early today. The accident took place close to 7 am, after which the emergency teams were notified, however, the man was declared deceased at the crash site. The segment of Lower Glanmire Road towards the east has been shut down and redirecting measures have been implemented to provide a forensic crash analyst space to scrutinise the accident scene.
